He improved his statistics in 2022, catching 95 passes for 1,196 yards and seven touchdowns.
Smith has 15 receptions on 20 targets for 206 yards and two touchdowns through Philadelphia’s first three games of the 2023 season. His current average per reception distance is 13.7 yards. The Eagles will play the Washington Commanders in Week 4 and are now 3-0.

Smith avoided yesterday’s practice, but the reason for his absence is unknown. He was ill and missed practice, but he returned the following day. Either Smith was ill, or the Eagles decided to give him an extra day of recuperation before Sunday’s game.
