Since Matt Lauer was fired in November 2017, Hoda has been in charge of the popular 7 and 8 a.m. timeslots. In January 2018, she and Savannah Guthrie were named co-hosts of the first hour of the show. This was the first time in Today’s history that two female hosts were paired together.

Hope Catherine, Hoda Kotb’s 4-year-old daughter, has had a lot of health problems over the last three months. Because of this, a lot of people want to know how her daughter is doing. We’ve got you covered, though.

Hoda Kotb Daughter Illness

Hoda Kotb, 58, has had a rough few months since her 4-year-old daughter Hope was taken to the hospital with an illness that no one could figure out. The writer who won an Emmy took time off from co-hosting “Today with Hoda & Jenna” in March because her daughter’s health problems got worse. When she went back on the show, she said:

Hoda said, “She’s getting better,” on April 25 on the Biscuits & Jam show for Southern Living. It was hard for her to see her child go through a “difficult time” at such a young age, she said, because she felt “helpless.”

Hoda Kotb hasn’t said much about Hope’s diagnosis, but it looks like she’s still having trouble. At the Webby Awards in New York, where she won the award for Best Interview/Talk Show Podcast for her show Making Space with Hoda Kotb, the 58-year-old talked about Hope’s health.

After the worst was over, Kotb saw that the stress of her daughter’s illness had made her worse. Even though she hasn’t said much about her daughter’s illness, we pray that she gets better soon. Also, we’ll get in touch with you again as soon as we learn anything new about Hope’s health.

Redditors talk about Hoda Kotb’s sick daughter

Since Hoda Kotb hasn’t said anything about her sick kid, we checked Reddit to see what people thought. Unfortunately, it looks like Redditors, like the rest of us, don’t know what’s wrong with Hope because no one has said anything about it.

Trace Gallagher Illness: Did Trace Gallagher Distinctive Eyes Affect His Job?

Who is the dad of Hoda Kotb’s kids?

Even though they aren’t together anymore, Hoda Kotb and her ex-boyfriend Joel Schiffman raise their two kids together. They adopted both girls at the same time, but in January 2022, they chose to end the adoption because they would get along better as friends.

Hoda thanked Joel for being with her during the parenting process. Hoda said this in an interview with People:

I looked him in the eye and I said, ‘I would like to explore adoption with you.’ And there was like a second there, I was like, ‘This is the end of a relationship or the beginning of a family.’ My heart was pounding and he just looked at me and he said, ‘I don’t need a week.’ [to think about it]. At that moment, I fell on his chest and was sobbing.

Finally, Hoda Kotb, a famous writer and TV host, made history when she became the first woman to co-host the first hour of “Today” with Savannah Guthrie. Despite all of Hoda’s career success, she had a rough time when her 4-year-old daughter Hope had a serious health problem that required her to take time off from work.

Even though Hoda hasn’t said much about Hope’s situation, she has said that she is thankful for her recovery and that they are still facing problems.
