In January 2009, 16-year-old Jett Travolta died tragically after suffering a seizure at the family’s vacation home in the Bahamas. The death sparked a court battle when an ambulance driver and his attorney were accused of attempting to extort $25 million from the actors by threatening to disclose private information about the actor’s son’s death unless they were paid.
