According to authorities, actor Jonathan Majors was detained on Saturday in New York on charges of strangulation, assault, and harassment. New York City Police say Majors was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman. At 11 a.m., police received a report from an apartment in the Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan.
According to a spokesperson for the New York Police Department, the victim reported that she had been assaulted, and the actor was arrested without incident.
