Keith Urban stated in a statement that he was being followed by a photographer on his way to an AA meeting in Sydney on Monday when he was involved in a motorcycle accident.

“Today’s event resulted from one person’s desire to do his job and my desire to maintain my privacy,” he said through his U.S. spokesperson, Paul Freundlich.
When the collision occurred near Nicole Kidman’s residence in Darling Point, according to eyewitnesses cited by an Australian publication, Urban, 39, was being pursued by a photographer on another bicycle.
