Ticket prices for Super Bowl 58 are expected to reach record highs as nearly half a million fans are expected to travel to Las Vegas. Attending the game alone will cost fans thousands of dollars. However, the financial strain does not end there. In addition, hotel and airfare costs are also skyrocketing.

The Super Bowl in Las Vegas this year will be historic, according to Tim Hentschel, co-founder and chief executive officer of HotelPlanner. According to Hentschel, the event is expected to generate the largest revenue for the city, and it will be the most viewed live event of the year. There will be an increase in hotel rates of 2.5 times the average during the Super Bowl weekend of Feb. 11 and 12. A hotel room will cost an average of $161 per night during the weekend, right before the big game.

In 2023, the average hotel rate for the same dates in Vegas was $266, or 34% higher than the average rate over the big game weekend in 2018.

People should pre-pay their rooms rather than pay upon arrival during the Super Bowl as a precaution against overcrowding, according to recommendations. Hentschel also suggests early check-in to secure rooms. If the hotel is overcapacity, booking a prepaid room and checking in early during a high-demand event like the Super Bowl reduces the likelihood of being bumped.

Johanne Thomas, the chief executive officer of Trivago, suggests that guests avoid the Las Vegas Strip to secure potentially lower-priced accommodations. Typically, these hotels provide complimentary shuttle services to the Strip, allowing guests to continue participating in the festive atmosphere.

What is the price of Super Bowl 58 tickets?

The Super Bowl 58 is the most expensive in history, as reported by SeatGeek and TickPick. As of Tuesday afternoon, the events marketplace had the most affordable ticket available, inclusive of all fees, priced at $8,100. This price pertains to a distant seat situated in the 300 sections along the endzone sides and in the extremities of the 400 level. Obtaining a superior seat on secondary markets typically costs between $10,575 and $12,082 per ticket on average.

Travelers to Las Vegas can fly non-stop on United Airlines, Delta Airlines, and American Airlines.

Generally, United does not operate a direct service between Kansas City and Las Vegas. However, American will provide the following for Super Bowl weekend:
