Stars Danielle Illness: Danielle and Adam Busby of ‘OutDaughtered’ have discussed the unique parental challenges posed by Danielle’s struggle with an autoimmune disease.
On Monday, July 10, while promoting the premiere of OutDaughtered’s ninth season, Danielle, 39, told Us Weekly–
In 2015, after the birth of her and Adam’s quintuplets Ava, Olivia, Hazel, Riley, and Parker, Danielle became aware of a problem. The couple’s 12-year-old daughter, Blayke, is also a member of the family.

Before Blayke was born in 2011, Danielle had previously struggled with infertility, initially attempting to conceive through IVF. Later, she opted for Femara, a prescription that increases fecundity in women with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which led to her first pregnancy.
When they decided to expand their family once more, Danielle resumed taking Femara, and she became pregnant with quintuplets.
Danielle’s doctor “diagnosed” her with “migraines” and prescribed “fibromyalgia” treatment due to her tense and inflamed muscles. Danielle stated, however, that her condition is still being investigated because she has both good and poor days.
Adam, 41, disclosed that although it is “definitely difficult” to watch his wife fight her illness, he chooses to be “supportive” and make every effort to meet Danielle’s requests.
Danielle stated emphatically on Monday that she had not had a migraine in “probably six months.”
After a two-year absence, OutDaughtered returns to the Busby family’s delight. Since its debut season in 2016, the family has appeared on the TLC programme.
