The forthcoming Patch 6.5 will add new content to the game. However, you will need to be patient for a while longer. This interesting update will be available in the Autumn of 2023. The exact date is still unknown, but the game’s developers estimate that it will be released in early October.

This provides you less than two months to complete the tasks from previous patches and prepare for the upcoming major update. Patch 6.51, a minor update, is also scheduled for release approximately two months after the major patch.

This is a significant update before the summer 2024 release of the next expansion. In addition to the addition of numerous new features, the game will also undergo some enhancements.

The update will conclude several quests that began after the primary storyline of Endwalker. As with the Myths of the Realm, these quests will eventually conclude.

However, do not fret if you have not yet completed the story. This update will also include additional objectives, though they will not be the final ones. You will have to wait a little longer to learn how the story concludes.

This update is beneficial for novice players. They are adding support for the Drowned City of Skalla, The Burn, and The Ghimlyt Dark dungeons.

Moreover, guess what? With this update, free-to-play players will receive the entire Stormblood expansion for free. This allows them to level up to 60 and test out the cool Samurai and Red Mage professions from Stormblood.

FFXIV 6.5 ‘Growing Light’ Introduces Exciting Modifications

This update, titled ‘Growing Light,’ introduces a variety of new features. After the primary storyline of Endwalker, there will be additional quests, including new quests for Manderville and Tataru.

These quests will activate Thaleia, the final major raid of the expansion. The Lunar Subterrane is a new Dungeon, The Abyssal Fracture is a difficult challenge, and The Singularity Reactor is a supercharged variant of the Thordan fight.

But there’s more! Other enjoyable activities are being increased. Island Sanctuaries will feature new content, including the combination of the Fall Guys and Gold Saucer games. If you enjoy crafting and gathering, you will discover new items and create cool Custom Deliveries.

Moreover, guess what? In this update, a new map dubbed The Red Sands will be added to the Crystalline Conflict mode for those who enjoy PvP combat. In order to maintain the game’s fairness and enjoyment, it’s possible that some adjustments will be made, but we’re not certain of this just yet.
