Despite the Smiths having a distinct family dynamic, it is encouraging to observe that transparent communication continues to be an integral component of their relationships. Willow, 22, and Jaden, 25, are the offspring of Jada and Will, respectively. Will has a son, Trey Smith, 30, from his former union with Sheree Zampino.

Willow Smith Applauds Mother Jada Pinkett Smith’s Candid Memoir ‘Worthy

We were particularly intrigued by the reaction of Willow, the Smiths’ daughter and a prodigious young artist, to her mother’s memoir. Jada asserts that Willow, an enthusiastic reader, swiftly immersed herself in “Worthy.” Jada even hinted that Willow herself is at work on a work of fiction scheduled for publication in May 2024.

“She loved the memoir even before it was edited,” Jada shared with a proud smile. “She couldn’t wait, she’s like, ‘Mom, I’m taking this copy. I got to finish my read.’ She was super excited about it. But the boys [Jaden and Trey], I just told them what was in it. They’ll read it eventually.”

The candid revelations in Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir “Worthy,” which include the unexpected fact that she and Will have been separated since 2016, have made headlines. During the book’s promotional tour, Jada discussed with Will on The Today Show the rationale behind their decision to reveal this information at this time.

“I think just not being ready yet, still trying to figure out between the two of us how to be in a partnership and in regards to how do we present that to people. And we hadn’t figure that out,” she admitted.

Willow is not the only one captivated by the pages of “Worthy.” Will Smith was overcome with emotion upon reading his wife’s candid reflections on their family life and dynamic. Will Shetty, on his podcast On Purpose, revealed a sincere letter that he had composed to Jada.

“I just turned the final page of ‘Worthy,’” he wrote. “It is amazing to realize that despite having lived most of my life by your side, I still found myself shocked and stunned and caught off guard, laughing, then inspired, then heartbroken. I was all over the place.”

Their since 1997-started love story is, without a doubt, one for the centuries. “While hearing anecdotes at a family barbecue is one thing, your story, potently condensed in this manner, was truly overwhelming to take in,” he continued.

Will Smith’s discourse demonstrates his profound admiration for his spouse. “unique, a rare combination of strength and nuanced sensitivity,” he declared. “I believe I would have given you more hugs thirty years ago if I had read this book.” “I will commence immediately.” ”

Recently, Jada Pinkett Smith succinctly described their relationship in a conversation. “The matter is still being resolved. Relationships are like organisms in that they are in a constant state of flux and motion. We have been collaborating on some incredibly laborious projects. We have just fallen in love and are proceeding to determine what that entails for one another. “In the past two years, much has transpired,” she revealed.

The ongoing success of Jada Pinkett Smith’s memoir “Worthy” serves as a poignant reminder that despite the extravagant nature of the Hollywood industry, fundamental values such as family, love, and communication remain constant.
