Aldi is offering free $50 Blind Boxes filled with surprise groceries from June 22 to June 25. Shoppers can claim themed boxes online while supplies last during the giveaway.
Aldi Free $50 Grocery Blind Boxes: Aldi is doing something a little wild in the grocery aisle. It is giving away free Blind Boxes of food for a short time only. The promotion runs from June 22 through June 25, and Aldi says a new box will drop each day at 12:00 p.m. ET. Shoppers can visit aldiblindbox.com, pick that day’s box, add shipping details, and try to grab one before they are gone. Aldi says the boxes are free, ship to the customer’s door, and are available only while supplies last on a first-come, first-served basis.
The idea is meant to feel like a fun unboxing moment, not just a normal grocery run. Aldi’s own statement says, “Nothing beats the thrill of unboxing something unexpected” and also, “Our shoppers come to ALDI for value, but they also come for discovery.” The company says it wants to bring that same surprise feeling into the store aisle and online too.
Aldi is releasing four themed boxes:
Delish describes it as more of a “greatest hits” style box, with longtime favorites, newer items, charcuterie picks, and sweet treats among the possible surprises. Delish also reports the boxes are worth $50, which makes the free giveaway feel even bigger.
Aldi is also asking people to follow Aldi USA on Instagram so they can see daily theme reveals before each drop.
Because the supply is limited, not everyone will get one. That is the whole point of the promotion. It is part grocery, part treasure hunt, and part surprise gift. For shoppers who like a deal and enjoy a little suspense, Aldi’s Blind Box idea is basically a food-filled mystery bag with a bow on top.
