What is the Christmas Bonus amount?
The Christmas Bonus in 2023 will be equal to 100% of your regular weekly income (which includes the Over-80 Increase, the Island Allowance, and the Living Alone Increase).
The Christmas Bonus is paid directly to your dependant spouse, civil partner, or cohabitant if they get an Increase for a Qualified Adult.
You will receive the Christmas Bonus for both of your qualifying social welfare payments if you receive a one-parent family payment and the Domiciliary Care Allowance or a half-rate Carer’s Allowance in addition to your primary payment.
The incentive for monthly payments of Domiciliary Care Allowance (DCA) is equal to 100% of the weekly DCA rate. Separate from other payments, the DCA component of the bonus is computed.
