Texas SNAP recipients may receive June 2026 benefits between June 15 and 21, depending on their EDG number and when their household was certified.
SNAP Benefits Payment May 2024
Texas SNAP Payment Schedule June: Texas SNAP households may see their June 2026 food benefits land between June 15 and June 21, but the exact day depends on the household’s Eligibility Determination Group, or EDG, number. Texas does not pay everyone on one day. The state uses a staggered schedule, so two families can be in the same SNAP program and still get money on different dates. The schedule for Texas is based on the EDG number and on whether the household was certified before or after June 1, 2020.
For households certified before June 1, 2020, benefits are spread over the first part of the month. In that older schedule, an EDG number ending in 9 gets benefits on the 15th. That is why June 15 sits at the edge of the older system. For households certified after June 1, 2020, the payments begin on the 16th and run through the 28th.

These are the Texas SNAP payment dates between June 16 and June 21 for that group:
| Household Size | Maximum SNAP Benefit Amount (Per Month) |
|---|---|
| 1 person | $298 |
| 2 people | $546 |
| 3 people | $785 |
| 4 people | $994 |
| 5 people | $1,183 |
| 6 people | $1,421 |
| 7 people | $1,571 |
| Each additional person | +$218 |
The easiest way to know the right day is to look at the EDG number on the Texas SNAP case. Households certified before June 1, 2020 should check the last digit. Households certified after that date should check the last two digits. The benefit amount is not the same for every home either. It changes based on income, expenses, and household size. SNAP payments are loaded onto an EBT card, not sent as a paper check.
