IPL 2024 Rules
If the bowling team goes over the allotted time, they can only have four fielders outside the field. This makes the game more time-sensitive. Before the start of a game, teams can make changes, which gives them a strategic edge. Another new rule says that teams can name their 11 players before or after the coin toss. This makes the makeup of the teams more smart.
The rule that only four players can be in the playing 11 makes sure that everyone is represented fairly and encourages tough matches. Another thing is that teams can have up to 15 players, with a limit of eight foreign players. This lets the management make smart decisions and create different team setups. Over time, these rules have helped the IPL grow and change, creating an exciting and smart playing field.y
