How do I establish a conference call?
Follow these steps to initiate a 3-way call from your smartphone:
- Tap the “Phone” icon on the home screen.
- Whenever required, touch the “Dial pad” icon.
- Enter the phone number of the individual you wish to call first, then tap the “Phone” icon to initiate the conversation.
- After the call is established, select the “Add call” icon.
- Enter the number of the second individual you wish to call. Tap the “Phone” icon to initiate a connection. The initial contact will be put on hold.
- Once the second connection is established, both calls will be displayed on the screen. Click “Merge.”
- Tap the “End conference” icon at the bottom of the screen to terminate the call.
Follow these procedures to initiate a 3-way call via a landline:
- Dial the number of the first individual you wish to contact.
- Press the FLASH key to place the conversation on hold once the first call is connected.Note: If your phone lacks a FLASH key, rapidly press and release the switch hook to place an incoming call on hold.
- Enter the telephone number of the second individual you wish to call.
- Press the FLASH key again once the second call has been established to join the two contacts.
