AUD Admissions 2023: The application period for undergraduate admission to BR Ambedkar University, Delhi (AUD) has just ended. 22,432 applicants have submitted applications for AUD UG admissions 2023, even though the university only has 1,123 seats to give them. This year, Dr. BR Ambedkar University Delhi (AUD) is experiencing a particularly high level of competitiveness for undergraduate programmes. One spot in the Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) course is up for grabs, and 91 applicants are vying for it. 67 people are vying for a spot in the political science (honours) course. 2,986 people have applied to the 44 seats in the recently launched political science (H) course. 2,793 people have applied for 44 places in psychology (H) at the Kashmere Gate campus.
As a state institution, AUD has allocated 85% of its seats to Delhi locals. The final 15% are for students who are not from Delhi. Out of the total, candidates from Delhi NCT submitted 11,289 applications, while 11,140 were from outside the NCT. 12,411 female students have applied compared to 10,021 male applicants, who are outnumbered.

Vice-chancellor Anu Singh Lather informed TOI in a statement about AUD UG admissions 2023 that the university had, in certain circumstances, received 25 times as many applications as there were seats available, “this is a subject of great joy. This demonstrates how quickly and well the relatively new university has developed. The institution, which has two campuses, offers a total of 18 UG programmes. Numerous vocational courses are offered on the Karampura campus as well.
On August 5, the university will disclose the undergraduate merit list, preparations for which are ongoing, according to Lather.
The normalised CUET score will be used to choose the candidates. The deadline for selected students to pay their fees is August 6. On August 8, the second merit list will be made public. A schedule for five lists has been released by the university. Sports and extracurricular activity admission will be announced separately. The UG students’ orientation is scheduled on August 21.
AUD PG Admissions 2023 is now taking applications for 27 PG courses. The application deadline is August 11.
