JNU Admission 2022: Jawaharlal Nehru University has released its new admission policies and procedures for the 2022-23 academic year. Undergraduate admission to the university will now be based on the Common University Entrance Test (CUET). Undergraduate and Certificate of Proficiency programmes (COP) such as BA Honours in Foreign Languages & B.Sc + M.Sc integrated course in Ayurveda & Biology will be determined according to CUET 2022 scores. The last date of nline registration for CUET 2022 is May 6, 2022.

Students will be admitted to M.Sc (Biotechnology) and M.Sc (Computation & Integrative Science) at Jawaharlal Nehru University based on their GAT-B scores. Students are required to apply online for the test before 31st March 2022. The Graduate Aptitude Test – Biotechnology (GAT-B) will take place on 23 April 2022.

Admissions to the MBA program at Jawaharlal Nehru University have begun for the 2022-24 academic session. the last date for online application form submission was March 10, 2022. 

JNU offers UG and PG admission in a number of courses. Interested students will have to follow the rules of application and fulfil all the requirements. They can download the admission forms as well. Jawaharlal Nehru University will soon start accepting students’ applications for the year 2022 in both UG and PG courses.

• Students applying for any UG course will have to clear 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 50% from any recognized education board.
• Learners who want to apply for any PG course will have to submit their final semester mark sheet of the previous study program along with the duly filled admission form and paid fee challan.

JNU UG Admission

• BA: Bachelor of Arts is one of the most common degree courses after 12th. JNU offers a BA programme in many different specializations like Arabic, German, French, etc. It is a UG level programme that takes a minimum of 3 years to complete. The students must have passed their 12th in any stream from the well-known board of education. 
• BBA: JNU offers a professional degree programme called Bachelor of Business Administration. The students must have a 12th board result with a minimum of 50% score from a recognised board of education in India.

Jawaharlal Nehru University PG Admission

• MA: JNU accepts applications for the Master of Arts programme. MA is a 2 years long duration course and students that have got a bachelor’s degree in the same discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks can apply for the admission to this programme.
• MCA: Master of Computer Application is a PG level degree programme that takes 2 years to complete. The students who want to make a career in the information technology field can take admission to this course at JNU. Students are required to have a bachelor’s degree in the relevant subject to get admission to the MCA course.

Jawaharlal Nehru University MBA Admissions 2022

Jawaharlal Nehru University has started with the MBA Program for the Students who wish to join management studies for the 2022-2024 session. The Program is introduced by the Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship Management Education, which is a new school centre of JNU. Master in Business Administration is a Full-Time two years Post Graduation Program. 

For students who want to apply for this Program, the registrations are ongoing, and the last date of registration is extended from 28th February 2022 to 10th March 2022. For applying, students should complete their Bachelor’s degree in any relevant program; the general category students should obtain at least 50% marks, and the SC/ST/PWD category students should obtain 45% marks in their Bachelor’s degree. 

Common Entrance Test:- Entrance Test CAT should be cleared for admissions, students merit scores and Entrance scores will be evaluated together and accordingly will be called for the admissions. 

The Registration Fees:- The Application fees for the General and Open Category is 2000/- and for the reserved category is 1000/-. 

Fee Structure Indian Students: There is a division in fee category wise where    

• The General category students are required to pay a fee is 12 Lakhs.
• The OBC category students are required to pay 8 Lakhs.
• The SC/ST/DA category needs to pay 6 Lakhs. 

Fee Structure for Foreign  Students: 

• The fee for the foreign students who want to enrol in the MBA program is required to pay INR 32000/- which is about INR 8000 per semester.
• For the SAARC National students, the fee is INR 5000/- per semester.

Jawaharlal Nehru University Entrance Exam (JNUEE)

The Jawaharlal National University Entrance Examination (also known as JNUEE) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Exam mode will be Computer Based Test (CBT), and the duration will be 3 hours. To apply for undergraduate, postgraduate, doctoral, and diploma programs, students must go through the JNUEE. Visit to fill out the application form. 

There will be a different exam pattern for the different courses according to the syllabus of the respective subjects. The questions will all be MCQs, and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. JNUEE is mandatory for the following degree programs: BA (Hons), MSc (Biotechnology), MCA, MBA, M.Tech, and PhD Program. For MBA Admission, marks obtained in the CAT exam are accepted by the university.  

• MCA: To apply for JNUEE for the MCA program, the student should hold a BCA/ Bachelor in Computer Sc./ B.Com/ BA/ B.Sc with at least 55% marks and studied Mathematics at Graduation or 10+2 level.
• MBA: Students in the general category must have earned a bachelor’s degree with 50% marks, and students in the reserved category (SC/ST/PWD) must have earned 45% marks. There is a fee of Rs. 2000 for the general category and Rs. 1000 for the reserved category.
• Ph.D: For Doctoral Programmes, a PG degree in the relevant field with 50% marks is required if a student belongs to the general category. For the reserved category students, it will be 45% marks. JRF qualified students will not need to appear for JNUEE. 

JNU Application Form 2022

JNU Admission Process is based on the entrance test. Students need to fill out the application for the entrance test. The qualified students will be applicable for admission. Candidates can Choose three language programs in a single application form. The entrance exam will be held in approved centres. The candidates are issued computer-generated Admit Cards and allotted Registration Numbers for appearing in the Entrance Examination. Students need to check the eligibility criteria on the University Prospectus.
