NVS Class 11 Admissions 2022: Imp notice on criteria released for vacant seats

JNV NVS JNVST 2023: The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has extended the registration deadline for the JNVST (Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya selection test 2023), the entrance examination for admission to class VI for the academic year 2023-24. The deadline for submitting the online form has been moved from January 31 to February 8. Students seeking admission to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas in class VI can apply online at, the NVS’s official website. Students will be chosen based on their performance in the JNVST 2023 exam. The Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST 2022) will take place on April 29, 2023.

Qualifications and Age Limit

To take this entrance exam, the candidate must have been born between 1 May 2011 and 30 April 2013. (both dates inclusive). Candidates in the fifth grade in the academic year 2022-23 from government / government aided or other recognised schools are eligible to apply. Students wishing to apply for admission to Navodaya Vidyalaya must be in the fifth grade at a school in the same district.

Exam pattern

The selection test will be of 2 hours. The exam will be taken from 11:30 am to 01:30 pm. There will be 3 sections consisting of objective type questions. There will be total 80 questions which will be of 100 marks.

Mental Ability Test—40 Questions—50 Marks—60 Minutes

Arithmetic Test—20 Questions—25 Marks—30 Minutes

Language Test—-20 Questions—25 Marks—30 Minutes

75 percent seats in the district will be filled by students from rural areas.
