Travis Scott was born Jacques Berman Webster II on April 30, 1992, in Houston, Texas. At the age of six, he moved to Missouri City, a middle-class suburb southwest of Houston, to reside with his parents. Prior to that, he lived with his grandmother in South Park, Houston, a high-crime area. After graduating from Elkins High School, he enrolled at the University of Texas at San Antonio but left after his sophomore year to pursue a career in music.
