AFCAT 2 2023 registration: The Indian Air Force began registration for AFCAT-II 2023. On the official website, afcat.cdac.in, interested and qualified applicants can register for the Air Force Common Admission Test, AFCAT.
The online application process for AFCAT-II will continue until June 30, 2023, as per the schedule. Online applications are being accepted for Short Service Commission (SSC) courses commencing in July 2024 in the Flying Branch and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) Branches. Also accepting applications online is the NCC Special Entry Scheme (flying branch).
Age Limit
(a) Flying Branch: 20 to 24 years old as of July 1, 2024, or born between July 2, 2000 and July 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive). The upper age limit for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed to 26 years, i.e., those born between July 2, 1998 and July 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).
(b) Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) Branches: 20 to 26 years of age as of 1 July 2024 (born between 2 July 1998 and 1 July 2004, inclusive, both dates inclusive).

Marital Status
Candidates must be celibate at the time the course begins, and marriage is prohibited during training. A candidate who marries during the period of training will be discharged and required to reimburse the government for all expenses incurred.

Application Fee
The applicants are required to pay a non-refundable examination fee of Rs. 250/-. However, candidates who register for NCC Special entry are exempt from payment.
