5 pitfalls to avoid when completing the CAT Exam 2023 Registration
Candidates are recommended to carefully read the following information in order to prevent errors when completing the CAT application form 2023.
1. Verified qualifications
The CAT 2023 exam registrations will be cancelled if the incorrect credentials are entered. The relevant authorities verify each piece of information you give on the CAT application form. As a result, providing inaccurate information will cause the form to be rejected. Candidates are therefore recommended to thoroughly complete out the IIM CAT 2023 registration form.
2. Prevent document inconsistency
Many applicants have problems when enrolling because their name or their parents’ name has changed on their Aadhaar card or any other document. During the CAT registration procedure, this may become a bottleneck. In that situation, candidates should preemptively make the appropriate changes to their documents.
A applicant must submit an application for correction at the closest Aadhaar Card Enrollment Centre, just like with an Aadhaar card. After submitting the request, he or she must complete the 14-digit Aadhaar number written on the given document.
3. Scan of a copy
The format of scanned photographs must be specific. JPG/JPEG format should be used when uploading them. The picture should be 30 mm x 45 mm in size. The signature must be written on a piece of paper that is 80 mm by 35 mm and is plain white. The resolution must be less than 150 px/inch and the size must not exceed 80 KB.
The candidate’s CAT 2023 application will never be rejected if they follow all the requirements for uploading the scanned photographs.
4. CAT qualification
Students should maintain normal eligibility for the CAT entrance exam, which is a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% marks for SC/ST category), in order to avoid having their application form rejected.
5. Choosing a CAT exam location
Candidates frequently choose the incorrect testing locations for the CAT admission exam. Because choosing a wrong centre that is too distant from home can result in several disruptions on the day of the CAT exam. Candidates are therefore urged to carefully select their preferred centres.
