AILET 2024 registration: In order to be admitted to the five-year BA LLB (Hons), LLM, and PhD programmes for the academic year 2024–2025. Candidates must first register for the All India Law Entrance Test–2024 (AILET 2024). The AILET 2023 exam will be held on December 10 in accordance with the timetable.
Candidates must submit the AILET 2023 application form via the official website, nludelhi.ac.in. Only if they meet the eligibility requirements. The NLU also revealed the AILET exam date for 2023 along with the test’s time window of 11 AM to 12.30 PM.
Candidates from unreserved categories must pay a registration cost of Rs 3,500 for the AILET 2023 exam. The SC, ST, and PWD candidates must pay a registration fee of Rs 1,500.
AILET 2024 Registration: Seats and Eligibility
Before beginning the application process for LLB, LLM, and PhD programmes, candidates should confirm their eligibility.
BA LLB Admission 2024:
Applicants must have completed Class 12 with a minimum cumulative GPA of 45%, or 40% for SC, ST, and PwD applicants. Additionally, those taking the Class 12 board test will be qualified. Through AILET merit 2024, 110 places will be filled. For direct admission based on merit, there are five seats each for foreign nationals and OCI/PIO.
Candidates for LLM:
Applicants in 2024 must have earned a minimum of 45% in their LLB programme. With an additional 5% required for SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Candidates who will be taking the annual LLB test in their final year in 2023 are eligible to apply. The AILET will assign a total of 70 seats for this course. 5 seats each going to the foreign nationals category and OCI/PIO direct admission.
PhD Admission 2024:
SC, ST, and PWD applicants with a 50% GPA and LLM graduates with a 55% GPA or an equivalent law degree may apply. UGC-JRF, AILET merit, 4 seats under fellowship through AILET, and 2 seats for overseas nationals each receive five seats. Foreigners and UGC JRF candidates are excluded from the AILET.
