
Delhi nursery admission 2022-23:The admission process for nursery admission in Delhi schools is going to start once again. 10,329 seats are vacant in Delhi schools. Parents wishing to enroll their children from Nursery to Class 1 in Delhi-based schools can do so from October 3. The admission process will start online with the registration of the ward on the official website edudel.nic.in. The application cum registration process will end on October 10.
According to the Delhi Education Department, out of the total seats, 55881 seats are for EWS and DG category students, while a total of 4448 seats are vacant for CDWSN category.
The allotment of seats will be done on the basis of online draw. As per the current schedule, the online draw will be held on October 14. Children applying for nursery admission in Delhi schools for the academic year 2022-23 must be above three years of age and below four years of age. For those applying in KG category, their age should be more than four years and less than five years. Whereas for those applying in class I, according to the existing rules, the age of the child should be more than five years and less than six years.
Meanwhile, during the pandemic, many parents have shifted their students from private schools to government schools in Delhi.
