Apply online for SSC CPO 2024

The SSC CPO Application Process 2024 will begin when the notice comes out in February 2024. Once the application form is officially out, we’ll give you the straight link to apply online.

How to Get an SSC CPO Notice in 2024

  • Visit the official page linked to on this page to begin. It’ll take you to the SSC CPO signup page.
  • Find the “Apply Link” on the official page and click on it on the register site. You will be taken through the signup process in a new window that pops up.
  • In the SSC CPO 2024 application box, click on “New Registration” to start the register process. To move forward, click the “Register” button.
  • Give important information like your name, the names of your parents, your date of birth, your email address, your cell phone number, and anything else that is needed to start the registration process.
  • Click the “Submit” button to send your online SSC CPO 2024 application form after you’ve finished filling it out. Make sure all the information you’ve given is correct before you send it. You will be given a unique Registration ID for the SSC CPO 2024 test after you send it in.

The fees to apply for SSC CPO in 2024

  • The amount of money you have to pay is Rs.100/-.

  • Candidates who are women, members of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), or ex-servicemen (ESM) and are qualified for reservation do not have to pay a fee.

Criteria for Eligibility for SSC CPO 2024

Qualifications for SSC CPO Education

For all positions, you need a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or something similar.

Only for the job of Sub Inspector in the Delhi Police

For guys to be eligible, they must have a current LMV (Motorcycle and Car) driving license on the day of the physical endurance and measurement tests. But people who don’t have a valid license to drive an LMV (motorcycle or car) can still apply for all other CAPF jobs.

How to Choose an SSC CPO in 2024

Paper-1, the Physical Standard Test (PST) or the Physical Endurance Test (PET), Paper-2, and the Detailed Medical Examination (DME) make up the SSC CPO hiring process. Shortlisted students will be asked to take the PET/PST exam based on how well they did in Paper-I.

  • The Commission can choose to set different minimum qualifying marks for each part of Paper-I, taking into account things like the number of openings and individuals in each group.
  • The PET or PST is required but only for qualified candidates. Ex-Servicemen don’t have to go through PET.
  • Candidates who passed the PET/PST test will be the only ones who can take the Paper-II exam.
  • The following are the minimum scores needed to pass Paper-I and Paper-II: 30% for UR, 25% for OBC/EWS, and 20% for everyone else.
  • Candidates will be chosen to take the Medical Examination based on how well they did in Paper-I and Paper-II. Candidates who pass the medical exams will be called back for a more in-depth review of their documents.
  • All applicants who made the short list must come in for document verification. Those who don’t do this will not be considered for the final pick.
  • Candidates must bring all original papers to the Document Verification process so that they can be checked.

Pattern of the SSC CPO Exam 2024

Individuals who want to take the SSC CPO exams need to know how the exams are set up. Here are the full test patterns for both papers for those who are interested.

For all jobs, there is a physical endurance test (PET).

Applicants must be men only

  • 16 seconds for the 100-meter dash
  • 6.5 minutes to run 1.6 km
  • 3 tries to jump 3.65 meters in the long jump.
  • Three chances to jump 1.2 meters in the high jump.
  • 16-pound shot put: 4.5 meters in three tries.

2. Only women who are applying

  • 18 seconds for the 100-meter dash
  • Four minutes to run 800 meters
  • Long Jump: 2.7 meters on three tries
  • Three chances to jump 0.9 meters in the high jump.

Note:

  • There will be no minimum chest size requirement for women who want to apply.
  • Any changes to the above-mentioned height and chest sizes will only be allowed if the applicant shows a certificate in the form described in Annexure-IX, signed by the proper officials of the district where they normally live.
  • If a person’s height or chest size was lowered at the time of their first job with the Delhi Police, it will stay that way as long as they work for the Delhi Police.

Standard for medical care (for all jobs)

1. Checkup with a doctor

Those who pass Paper II will all be medically checked by a Medical Officer of the CAPFs or any other Medical Officer or Assistant Surgeon of Grade I at any Central or State Govt. Hospital or Dispensary.
Those candidates who are found to be unfit will be told about the job, and they have 15 days to file an appeal with the Review Medical Board.
The Re-Medical Board or Review Medical Board’s ruling is final, and no one can argue or be heard against it.

2. The ability to see

Near vision should be at least N6 (better eye) and N9 (worse eye). Both eyes should be able to see at least 6/6 in the distance (better eye) and 6/9 in the distance (worse eye) without any corrections, like glasses or surgery. For people who are right-handed, the right eye is better than the left.

3. The person applying must not have knock knees, flat feet, varicose veins, or squints in their eyes, and they should be able to see colors clearly.

4. They must be mentally and physically healthy and not have any physical problems that would make it hard for them to do their jobs well.

5. Finally chosen candidates for the jobs of Sub-Inspector and Assistant Sub-Inspector would have to pass seven challenge courses as part of their training. If they failed, they might not be able to stay with the Force:

5. Going up and down the vertical board

  • Holding on to the rope as you jump off the board
  • The Tarzan Swing
  • Getting ready to jump on the horizontal board parallel rope.
  • Crawl Like a Monkey

6. Tattoo: You can get a tattoo as long as you follow these rules:

Tattoos with religious symbols or figures and the name are allowed, just like they are in the Indian Army.
Location: Tattoos on traditional body parts, like the inside of the forearm (but only on the left forearm, a limb that isn’t being sexy), or the back of the hands are okay.
Size: The size must be less than ¼ of the body part in question, like the elbow or hand.

SSC CPO Jobs and Pay

Here are the specifics of the jobs:

Sub-Inspector (GD) in the CAPFs: This is a Group “B” (non-gazetted) non-ministerial job with a pay rate of Level-6 (Rs.35,400–1,12,400/-).
For the job of Sub Inspector (Executive) (Male or Female) in the Delhi Police, the pay range is Leve-6 (Rs.35,400–1,12,400/-), and the job is in Group “C” (Non-Gazetted).

When candidates’ documents are checked, they will have to list the positions or forces they want to be considered for, in the order of choice. Here’s more information about the different posts:
