Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has changed the dates of the Forest Guard (UKPSC) and PCS main exams. The Forest Guard recruitment exam, which was scheduled for January 22, has been rescheduled for April 9. While the main PCS exam will be held between January 28 and 31, the preliminary exam will be held between February 23 and 26. Candidates have been protesting for several days about both examinations. Following that, the commission issued the order on Tuesday night. Dr. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman of the Commission, stated that changes will be made to the question papers for both examinations.
In a meeting with the members of the Public Service Commission on Tuesday, Dr. Rakesh Kumar brainstormed with them about the situations that arose as a result of the paper leak episode. Dr. Rakesh Kumar informed the Commission’s meeting that the dates of the main examination for Forest Guard and PCS had been changed. The PCS main exam and the forest guard exam will now be administered using new question papers. He stated that the exams would be conducted smoothly and with strict procedures. On Tuesday, your own newspaper, Hindustan, suggested that the date of the PCS main examination be changed.
The annual calendar will be altered (UKPSC Calendar)
Following the change in examination dates, it is expected that changes will be made to the Public Service Commission’s annual calendar. Because other exams are scheduled for February and April. Both of these exams have only been proposed for February and April. As a result, the commission is expected to make changes to the annual calendar.
The Patwari Lekhpal recruitment exam, which was cancelled following the leak of the paper, will now be held on February 12, while the Assistant Accountant exam, which was scheduled for February 12, will now be held on February 19.
