JEE main exam live updates: Amid COVID-19 pandemic, the National Testing Agency (NTA) is conducting the JEE Main and NEET exams in September 2020. Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2020 from today, September 1. The exam will conclude on September 6.
Over nine lakh candidates are appearing for the exam across the exam conducted for admission to engineering courses in NITs, IITs and CFTs.
The medical entrance test – National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) is scheduled to be conducted on September 13, 2020, for medical and dental admissions.

As many as 8,58,273 candidates have registered for the April session of JEE Main 2020. Therefore, students will need to dress up as per the instructions of NTA officials and also in a way to avoid spreading the Coronavirus infection.
Candidates should know the instructions related to JEE Main dress code to be followed by the aspirants for appearing in the exam.
JEE Main 2020 Dress Code: Candidates should note that NTA has not specified any particular JEE Main dress code. However, candidates should in general make sure to follow the following instructions when it comes to the dress code for JEE Main.
While the candidates are not allowed to carry any metallic objects in the examination hall, there should not be any metal part in the dress worn as well.
In view of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the NTA has taken extra measures to ensure safety of candidates. Candidates must read the exam day instructions mentioned on the JEE Main 2020 admit card and follow them on the exam day.

About JEE Main Exam
JEE Main is a computer-based test (CBT). It is conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) twice a year for admission to 31 National Institute of Technology (NITs), 25 Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), and 28 Government Funded Technical Institutes. Students can appear for either one or both entrance examinations. The best of the two scores are considered for the ranking.
