
The class X results for Gujarat Board this year were 64.62 percent, which is 0.56% lower than in 2022. However, this year there has been a significant decline in the number of students earning over 90%. This year, a total of 6111 pupils achieved a 90% grade, a number that will decrease by nearly the same in 2022. A total 12,090 students received 90% marks in 2022.
On Monday, the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board announced the SSC results. Of the 7.35 million regular students who sat for the exam, only 4.756 million passed, representing a pass rate of 64.62 percent.
While only 17.30% of the 1.58 million repeat examinees who sat for the exam passed it, the majority of the repeat examinees failed. Girls have once again demonstrated their superiority over guys. The graduation rate of females was 11.04% higher than that of boys. The female success rate was 70.62 percent, while the male rate was only 59.58 percent.
According to board officials, 41,279 pupils failed in a single subject, while 74,538,000 failed in two. These students will be permitted to retake the examination later this year.
Surat had the greatest graduation rate among the districts, at 76.45%, while Dahod had the lowest, at 40.75%. This year, however, 272 institutions achieved perfect scores, compared to 294 in 2022.
