This year, 72,842 candidates from Telangana took the NEET examination, of which 42,654 passed. The number of certified candidates has doubled since 2022, when only 28,093 out of 50,392 from the state had passed the examinations.
In addition to these two pupils, Gilda Prachi earned the 65th position in AIR and was among the top 20 female candidates. In the top 10 EWS students, Tela Varun Reddy secured a spot with an AIR rank of 105, while Kollabathula Pritham Siddharth secured a place in the top 10 SC candidates with an AIR rank of 299. Lavudi Madhu Balaji, with an AIR of 445, was one of the top ten ST candidates.
Regarding his accomplishments, Raghu Ram expressed astonishment. “In the initial key, I scored a perfect 720, but I forfeited some points in the second key. Despite this, I am exceedingly content. My objective is AIIMS Delhi, and I may choose cardiology or neurology in the future, said Raghu Ram, a student at Sri Chaitanya College in Hyderabad. The young man is initially from Andhra Pradesh’s Tadipatri, and both of his parents are physicians in AP.
Jagruthi was the second-best student in Telangana. She told TOI that she felt ethereal. “I am unsure if I will gain admission to AIIMS, but JIPMER is my second choice. It is a joyful day for me because my father flew from the United States after six years to support me during my exams, and his efforts paid off,” said KPHB resident Jagruthi. She used to devote 16 hours per day to studying at Sri Chaitanya in Hyderabad. She is the first physician in her family.
