Children are our future. Camp Fire stands ready to assist. This organization, which was founded in 1910 as Camp Fire Girls, has set out to “guide young people on their journey to self-discovery.” What can be done to assist? It’s quite straightforward, in reality. Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®, observed on March 16 this year, encourages adults to write a note to a child, explaining why they are so incredible! (Verbal messages are fine too.) A child’s existence can be profoundly altered by the words we speak to them. Let’s get begun.

The background of Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®

Absolutely Incredible Kid Day® began as a nationwide initiative to encourage adults to write about the extraordinary children in their lives. Participants from coast to coast lit campfires (of course!) at the same time to commemorate Camp Fire’s centennial.The organization taught SEL (Social Emotional Learning) skills to children and adolescents using the new Thriveology framework, a research-based strategy for youth success.Yes, it is extremely essential to plan for the future when it comes to our young people. Still, Camp Fire aims to inspire kids to take on leadership roles right now. Why wait? Children possess limitless potential.Camp Fire remains dedicated to assisting children “find their voice and ignite” Each young person has distinct passions. Exploring them early can significantly increase their likelihood of success. Let’s assist children in discovering their identities on Absolutely Incredible Kid Day®.It’s a philosophy that prompts us to help children flourish immediately. Thriveology involves identifying passions, overcoming obstacles, concentrating on objectives, and reflecting.

You will be amazed by the variety. There are LGBTQ camps, as well as autism camps, bereavement camps, and special needs camps, among others. Kids learn crucial life skills while participating in a broad array of fun activities.
