Pure Fiction is going to be a game mode that focuses on multiple targets. Right now, most of Honkai Star Rail’s game types and situations are about beating one or two tough enemies. In the Pure Fiction game mode, things will be different. There will be a lot of weak enemies that keep coming back, along with maybe one or two elite enemies.

1. Argent
It was made to work with Pure Fiction mode, too. His Skill and Ultimate both deal a lot of damage to a wide area, quickly killing a lot of enemies. His Talent also raises his Crit Rate based on how many enemies he hits, making him great for most situations where he needs to hit more than one enemy. His Ultimate also recharges very quickly when hitting multiple foes, giving him a great uptime.
2. Hemeko
The Pure Fiction mode in HSR is a great place for Himeko to come back. When facing a lot of weak enemies that are easy to Weakness Break, Himeko’s kit really shines. Himeko’s Follow-up move can happen when three enemies are broken, which is great for enemies that keep coming back. Himeko will keep repeating her Follow-up move, doing a lot of damage and getting points for your team if you play her right. It’s a plus that her ultimate does good harm to a wide area.
3. Sheta
With the Pure Fiction game mode, Herta also comes back. Every move in her kit deals damage to everyone in the area. Her Skill, Follow-up attack, and Ultimate all do this. When paired with Himeko, she can help you beat enemies with low health, giving you more chances to return and heal.
4. Serval
If you want to use DoT teams, Serval is another good character for Honkai Star Rail Pure Fiction game. Her moves do extra damage to all foes that are shocked, so she has a good AoE damage kit. Her ultimate attack does a lot of damage over a wide area and puts all foes in a stunned state.

Himeko and Herta will make the best team for Pure Fiction mode. Together, they are very powerful for situations with more than one target. Besides that, Argenti, Blade, and Jing Yuan are also good choices. For Pure Fiction, Luocha and Fu Xuan are the best saves because their ultimates do damage to a wide area.
