Marvelous Mrs Maisel Season 5 Release Date: Speculation
There is no official release date for season five of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. Nevertheless, production began in February 2022, which is an encouraging sign that the show will be released soon. On the streets of New York while filming with Gideon Glick, Rachel Brosnahan was photographed wearing her best Maisel outfits. There appeared to be an icy chill in the air; I hope their coats were warm.
Keep in mind that it typically takes three to four months to film a show, depending on the number of locations and the availability of the cast. Post-production follows to ensure that the footage is flawless prior to release.

Rachel Brosnahan brings Mrs. Maisel to life and is essential to the success of the show. The same can be said for Alex Borstein’s Susie, who serves as Mrs. Maisel’s manager and best friend.
Michael Zegen will reprise his role as Midge’s on-again, off-again husband Joel, joining Marin Hinkle and Tony Shalhoub as Midge’s parents, Rose and Abe.
Shirley and Moishe, the overbearing parents of Joel, may be portrayed by Caroline Aaron and Kevin Pollak.
If the fourth season is successful, we could see Jane Lynch (as Sophie Lennon) and Luke Kirby (as Lenny Bruce).
New cast members have been confirmed for season four as a result of street filming in New York. Milo Ventimiglia, who portrays an attractive man who attracts Midge’s attention on This Is Us, will have a prominent role. However, their relationship ends abruptly when his wife interrupts them while they are sleeping together.

Fifth Season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Plot Speculation
In the fourth season, Midge transforms from a struggling queen into an entrepreneur when she takes control of an illegal strip club and restores it. But when the club was closed, she needed a Hail Mary desperately. When Lenny Bruce (Luke Kirby) offers her the opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall’s opening night, she declines. Later, he reprimands her for being so choosy about opportunities while she is unable to take advantage of them. After years of animosity, at least they end up together for a while.
Midge storms out of the performance hall and into the blizzard following an argument with Lenny, who was performing that night, in the final episode of the series. Clearly, she has much to consider.
In the final seconds, she looks up at a billboard advertising The Gordon Ford Show, an appearance on which she previously declined.
Luke Kirby, who portrays Lenny Bruce (a real-life comedian from the era), will reprise his role, but Lenny’s drug addiction will become more pronounced. Lenny actually died of a morphine overdose in 1966 at the age of forty. According to the show’s chronology, season four will take place five years before his death.
A time jump for season five would allow the show to address this if it so desired. Luke told Us Weekly that they felt obligated to discuss the circumstances surrounding Lenny Bruce’s untimely death. He stated that in season four, they will bring Lenny Bruce back to Earth and investigate this further.
