Outer Banks Season 3 Plot
The season two finale of Outer Banks was, in a word, unexpected. Throughout the series, Sarah and John B continued their quest for the treasure in Charlotte with the assistance of the remaining Pogues. They were able to remain one step ahead of Ward, Rafe, and newcomer Carla (let’s face it, nobody is truly safe on this show!)
During an altercation on a cargo ship, the Pogues had lost their gold cross to the Camerons, Sarah’s family. The crew abandoned ship after narrowly escaping death (again), only to find themselves on an uninhabited island.
Carla concluded the season on her journey to John B’s father. Many people believed he was deceased, but he is still alive! In exchange for Carla’s assistance in locating it, he vowed to help track down the Shroud of Turin (a magical healing cloth believed to be concealed in a gold cross).
