Solo Leveling Episode 1: This winter of 2024, one of the most well-liked action films, Solo Levelling, will finally have an anime adaptation. A-1 Pictures Studio, the company behind anime smash hits like Sword Art Online and Your Lie in April, is responsible for the show’s animation.
As Solo Levelling is one of the most read manhwa among readers, fans of the manga already have great hopes for the anime.
On March 4, 2018, the manhwa began serialisation on the Kakao Page in South Korea. The manhwa was translated into English later in 2020 and made available to readers worldwide digitally on Tappytoon.
Delcourt has also published it in French due to popular demand. Readers love Solo Levelling so much that they can’t wait to see their favourite manhwa turned into an anime on screen.
Fans have voiced their worries about the adaptation; some fear that the anime adaptation’s writers would omit a significant number of panels.
They are hopeful that the minimal time slot won’t have an impact on the series’ quality. After seeing the trailers, many fans have low hopes for the series since they feel that A-1 Pictures Studio could not adequately justify the single Leveling’s animation.
After seeing the premiere, the majority of viewers have nothing but great things to say about the adaption. As a result, it has increased spectators’ anticipation once again for Solo Leveling’s first episode.
The material that has surfaced indicates that 78 chapters from the manhwa will be animated in Solo Leveling’s first season.
Since the popular South Korean 5-member boy duo TOMORROW X TOGETHER sang the anime’s opening song, even K-pop fans are excited for the release of Solo Levelling.
Krage, a Japanese singer, sang the concluding theme in the meanwhile. Shunsuke Nakashige, who previously served as a key animator on Shingeki no Kyojin and Re: Zero, is directing the anime.
The primary character, Sung Jin-Woo, is voiced by voice actor Taito Ban. His portrayal of Amane Fujimiya in the anime The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten is what made him most famous.
Solo Leveling Episode 1 Narrative
The narrative of Solo Levelling centres on E-rank hunter Sung Jin-Woo, who found it difficult to navigate even the most basic dungeons.
A tunnel that connected another dimension to their world and the dungeon where the monsters lived forced Sung Jin-Woo and the other hunters to battle the creatures.
Sung Jin-Woo was unable to give up hunting as he had to cover his mother’s medical expenses. But the most difficult dungeon was concealed inside a d-rank dungeon.
But ultimately, as he was wasting away, he was unable to avoid death. In the end, Sung Jin-Woo awoke in a hospital.
After regaining consciousness, Sung Jin-Woo was given his first daily mission. From then on, he was given a new skill each day.
It was a window of a quest seen only to him. He pursued monsters and used his excursions as training. From the weakest hunter, Sung Jin-Woo was able to advance to become the strongest S-Rank hunter.
But Sung Jin-Woo thought it unseemly to call oneself a hunter when he ignored his somewhat abnormal strength and regeneration.
