“SpongeBob SquarePants” is an animated comedy series created by Stephen Hillenburg for Nickelodeon. The sitcom depicts SpongeBob and his friends through their adventures in the underwater metropolis of Bikini Bottom. In 1989, Hillenburg created an unpublished educational book to educate his students about ocean life, which provided inspiration for numerous SpongeBob concepts.
