Jayson Tatum’s Personal Life

Jayson Christopher Tatum, an American professional basketball player who was born on March 3, 1998, is a member of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and plays for the Boston Celtics. Tatum was a McDonald’s All-American in high school in Missouri and currently plays basketball for the Duke Blue Devils in college.

The Boston Celtics selected Tatum with the third overall choice in the 2017 NBA Draft. He was chosen for the NBA All-Rookie First Team in 2018. Tatum led the Celtics to the NBA Finals and was selected the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player in 2022. He is a three-time All-NBA player and four-time NBA All-Star.

The Boston Celtics’ general manager, Danny Ainge, attempted to get a valuable second-round pick and hold onto Tatum by trading the team’s first overall pick to the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2017 NBA draft.
