Score Free Cash for Amazon Prime Day

Amazon Prime Day 2026 is set for June 23 to June 26, and the sale will start at 12:01 a.m. PT on June 23. It is a four-day event this year, and it is only for Prime members. Amazon says the event will bring millions of deals across more than 35 categories, and some early deals are already live before the main sale begins.

Because the sale starts at midnight Pacific time, shoppers in other places will see it much earlier in their day. Amazon has also kept the deals coming in waves instead of putting everything live at once, so some offers will appear later in the day. Lightning Deals can vanish fast, too, since they last only while stock is available.

What Shoppers Can Expect?

Amazon is bringing back “Today’s Big Deals” for Prime Day. These are themed daily drops that begin at midnight Pacific each day and highlight brands like LG, Sol de Janeiro and Levi’s. Amazon says these are some of the event’s biggest offers, but they will not stay up for long. The company also said, “Prime Day is the biggest shopping event of the year exclusively for members.”

To shop most of the sale, buyers need a Prime membership. In the U.S., Amazon lists Prime at $14.99 per month or $139 per year, and some people may also get a 30-day free trial. Amazon says Prime gives members free shipping on many items and access to services like Prime Video and Amazon Music Unlimited.

Other Stores

Amazon will not be alone. Walmart and Target are both running sales at the same time.

  • Walmart Deals runs from June 22 to June 28
  • Target’s Circle Deal Days run from June 23 to June 26

That means shoppers will see a lot of competing discounts all week long.

Scam Warnings

Shoppers should also be careful. The Better Business Bureau and security researchers have warned that fake shopping sites and fake ads rise during big sale periods like Prime Day. Reports have said fake Amazon-style websites and copycat stores have jumped sharply, and scammers often use fake emails or texts about delivery problems or prizes to trick people. The safest move is to type the store address yourself, check the spelling, and avoid clicking strange links.
