Celebrity Cricket League 2024: An all-out effort is forthcoming to commence on Friday, February 23, for the Celebrity Cricket League 2024, following the triumphant conclusion of the CCL 2023. Sharjah will be among the five cities that will host the competition during its inaugural weekend.
The eight teams that are participating in this year’s campaign are as follows: Bengal Tigers, Bhojpuri Dabanggs, Chennai Rhinos, Karnataka Bulldozers, Kerala Strikers, Mumbai Heroes, Punjab De Sher, and Telugu Warriors.
Following the thrilling grand finale of the previous edition, in which they defeated the Bhojpuri Dabanggs by six wickets, the Telugu Warriors will join this year’s tournament as the defending champions. With four titles to their name, the Telugu Warriors are notably the most successful team to date.
Each team will compete in a league segment consisting of a total of four games before the playoffs. In the first qualifier, the top two ranked teams will advance, whereas the third and fourth-ranked teams will meet in the elimination round.
In the second qualifier, the victorious team from the eliminator and the unsuccessful team from the first qualifier will face off. Sunday, March 17th, is the date of the main finale, in which the victorious team from both qualifying rounds will fight. There will be four distinct innings of ten overs in each event.
An unprecedented cricketing campaign that combines Indian film and cricket, the CCL is a cricketing event unlike any other. A convergence of diverse regional film industries will engage in a competitive match akin to a cricket match.
