In view of COVID-19 pandemic, international Entrance exams such as TOEFL and GRE can now be taken from home. According to Educational Testing Service, students who are willing to take admission in foreign universities across the globe can take the exams such as GRE and TOEFL from home.

Earlier, these tests were also postponed across the globe amid Coronavirus Outbreak. However, the TOEFL and GRE exams cannot be taken from home in countries such as mainland China and Iran.

TOEFL and GRE Global Exams 2020 Details

“At-home solutions will now be available worldwide for test takers who have been affected by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Both TOEFL and GRE will be taken at home till the situation is conducive for tests to be conducted at centres,” Srikant Gopal, Executive Director of the TOEFL Program, told PTI.

“Precautions are being taken to ensure that the tests will be taken from home by students to meet the highest standards for validity, reliability and security.These tests employ multiple best-in-class security measures that use both real-time human monitoring and artificial intelligence technology,” he added.

The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and Graduate Record Examinations (GRE), are crucial exams for admissions in top universities across the globe. Meanwhile, the all board examination and other entrance examinations in the country are postponed due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.

At this point of time, everyone is advised to stay at home and follow all precautionary measures to combat the issue of COVID-19 pandemic.

The country is also going through the phase of lockdown to stop the virus from spreading. Earlier, online classes for students have been started by many schools wherein students are being taught through virtual technological mediums such as video conferencing and smart classes.
