JEE Advanced 2022: Despite the fact that BTech at Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is arguably the most popular option for JEE Advanced qualified candidates, there are other options available.
Some of the country’s most prestigious institutions, including the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) and the Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research (IISERs), admit JEE Advanced-qualified candidates to undergraduate and dual degree programs.
After passing JEE Advanced, candidates must participate in JoSAA’s centralized counselling process for IIT admission. Here is a list of institutes that admits JEE Advanced qualified candidates through institute-level counselling.

IISc
JEE Advanced is used to admit candidates to the Bachelor of Science (IISc BS) program at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bangalore. The institute has recently introduced a new degree program, BTech in Computing and Mathematics.
In addition to the JEE Advanced, the Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana (KVPY) can be used to gain admission to the BS program at IISc.
IISER
The top 15,000 candidates with a qualifying score on the JEE Advanced may register for admission to integrated BS-MS programs offered by IISERs. Similar to IISc, candidates who have passed the KVPY aptitude test are permitted to enroll at this institution. In addition, it administers the IISER Admission Test (IAT) for admissions through the State and Central Boards (SCB) channel.
IIST
Another institution that utilized JEE Advanced scores was the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) in Thiruvananthapuram. On the basis of JEE Advanced score, students can register for three courses: 4-year BTech in Aerospace Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering (Avionics), and 5-Year dual degree (BTech+ Master of Science/Master of Technology).
IIPE
Indian Institute of Petroleum also employs the JEE Advanced as its UG admissions test. The institute’s Petroleum Engineering and Chemical Engineering programs are open to JEE Advanced-qualified applicants. The admissions process will commence following the release of JEE Advanced results.
The RGIPT
The Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology (RGIPT) admits JEE Advanced-qualified applicants to its BTech and dual-degree programs.
The institute provides eight Bachelor of Technology (BTech) programs and two Integrated Dual Degree (IDD) programs.
