AMU Admission Results

Even as the Covid-19 crisis hit the campus placement prospects across the country, a host of multinational companies such as Tech Mahindra, Goldman Sachs, BYJU’s, Optum, Chegg India, Data mark, ATG, Hexa view, and Tech Recru among others hired 180 Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) students pursuing courses in arts, social science, commerce, management and science in an online placement drive.

“The hired students managed weighty pay packages ranging from Rs six lakhs to 10 lakhs per annum,” said Saad Hameed, the General Training and Placement Officer (TPO) of the university.

He added that the interviews for placements were conducted through video conferencing platforms in which 600 students were screened.

More multinational companies are scheduled to interview AMU students in the second phase of the placement drive, added Dr Jahangir Alam, Convenor of the drive.
