The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) is scheduled to be administered on Sunday, May 7, 2023, at various examination centres from 2:00 p.m. to 5:20 p.m. in Pen & Paper mode in approximately 499 cities in India and cities outside India (offline).
On Wednesday, May 3, 2023, the exam administrator, National Testing Agency (NTA), issued the NEET 2023 admit card to all candidates who successfully registered for the examination.
If you are one of the NEET aspirants scheduled to take the medical entrance exam on Sunday, here are a few items you must bring with you to the NEET exam centre on the day of the exam.
NEET-UG Exam Guidelines: Dress code, Prohibited and permitted items
The NEET Admit Card is the most important document for gaining entrance to the examination centre, and no candidate should forget to bring it. The NEET hall ticket must be a hard copy with a 4-inch x 6-inch photograph or a coloured postcard-sized photograph adhered to it.
Along with your NEET admit card, you must also bring a valid photo identification document to the examination centre. It may be your Aadhaar card, PAN card, voter identification card, or driver’s licence.
Two Passport-Size Photographs: You are required to bring at least two recent passport-size photographs, identical to the ones you uploaded with your NEET 2023 application.
Face Mask: As COVID-19 has not yet been eradicated in its entirety, it is crucial that all candidates adhere to the NTA’s guidelines. At the examination centre, you must wear a face mask and maintain social distance for your own and others’ safety.
Water Bottle: You should bring your own water bottle to the exam site, as staying hydrated during the exam is crucial, particularly when the temperature is rising. Additionally, you should ensure that the bottle is transparent.
You must carry an extra pen, pencil, rubber and sharpener, among other stationery items. All of the essential stationery items you should keep in your bag.
NEET is an all-India pre-medical entrance examination for students who wish to pursue undergraduate medical (MBBS), dental (BDS), and AYUSH (BAMS, BUMS, BHMS, etc.) courses in government and private institutions in India, as well as those who wish to pursue primary medical qualification abroad.
