Fields played irrational and antisocial characters, but he never wavered in his love of booze or in his contempt for kids and dogs. During his forty years as a performer, Fields starred in numerous movies and rose to fame.
One of the greatest legacies ever created by an artist, Fields passed away at the age of 66.
