Attending the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, he was able to work with Eric Mitchell on his first acting role, “The Way It Is” (1985). His collaboration with the Coen brothers,, as a director team, started in 1990 with the neo-noir crime thriller “Miller’s Crossing.” They would work together on five films, the first of which is this one.
