Government job aspirants in Bihar will have to wait several more months for the Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) examination to be held due to ongoing nationwide lockdown to fight coronavirus. Now, the LDC recruitment process to be taken by Bihar Staff Selection Commission will be delayed.
Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has once again extended the last date of registration for the recruitment of the mains for this phase. Now candidates have time till 3rd May 2020 to apply.
Previously, the last date for mains registration for the same recruitment was 28th March 2020. It was then extended to 15th April 2020. Now it has been extended again to 3rd May 2020. At the same time, the last date for depositing the fees is 1t May 2020.
These recruitments are to be held by Bihar Staff Selection Commission in various positions including LDC, Clerk, Stenographer, Forest Guard. These vacancies are for a total of 12,041 posts. Through this, the posts mentioned in various departments of the Government of Bihar will be filled.
It is to be noted that these recruitments are being done on the basis of the advertisement published in the year 2014 by the Bihar Staff Selection Commission. The preliminary examination has already been conducted by the BSSC. Candidates who had cleared the preliminary examination have to register for the mains examination. The controversy around BSSC recruitment
The government of Bihar is unable to complete the recruitment process for a vacancy which was advertised in 2014 during previous Nitish Kumar led government. The said examination was canceled earlier due to allegations of rampant corruption in the recruitment process and paper leak. Hundreds of Students have wasted their precious time waiting for examinations to be held.
